The Country Inside Me<\/strong> explored the complex and emotional relationships people form with the idea of \u201chome,\u201d particularly for those who have migrated from other countries. The work combined music by Damon Mason<\/strong>, Butoh-inspired movement by Fina Po<\/strong>, and projection mapping<\/strong> across multiple surfaces by Video Architecture<\/strong>, offering an evocative, multimedia reflection on belonging and identity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Freda Experience<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Presented at the Castlemaine State Festival and Natimuk Fringe in 2015<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Freda Experience<\/strong> was an immersive, participatory theatre work that invited audiences into the world of a young woman defying convention in the early 20th century. Created and directed by Verity Higgins<\/strong> in collaboration with Jillian Pearce<\/strong> and Jim Coad<\/strong>, the piece combined storytelling, movement, and projection to bring to life the spirit of adventure and resilience of women who challenged societal boundaries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
