Microcosmos is an interactive art experience that invites audiences to step inside the creative process. Participants begin with colouring sheets featuring eight unique creatures — perhaps a spider, a butterfly, or a snail. Once coloured, these artworks are scanned, animated, and projected into a vibrant, immersive forest environment.
Blending hands-on artmaking with digital innovation, Microcosmos transforms simple drawings into living, moving imagery — allowing participants to witness their creativity come to life in real time.
Debuting at the Murten Lichtfestival in Switzerland in January 2024, Microcosmos has since captivated audiences at festivals across Tasmania, Victoria, the Northern Territory, and South Australia, continuing to celebrate imagination, technology, and community participation in art.
