The Fire Garden was an outdoor performance event featuring storyteller Ron Murray. Drawing from his Indigenous heritage, Ron shared traditional stories enhanced by projection, music, and fireworks, creating a rich sensory experience that celebrated culture, fire, and connection to Country.
The Country Inside Me
Directed by Danny Powell
The Country Inside Me explored the complex and emotional relationships people form with the idea of “home,” particularly for those who have migrated from other countries. The work combined music by Damon Mason, Butoh-inspired movement by Fina Po, and projection mapping across multiple surfaces by Video Architecture, offering an evocative, multimedia reflection on belonging and identity.

The Freda Experience
Presented at the Castlemaine State Festival and Natimuk Fringe in 2015
The Freda Experience was an immersive, participatory theatre work that invited audiences into the world of a young woman defying convention in the early 20th century. Created and directed by Verity Higgins in collaboration with Jillian Pearce and Jim Coad, the piece combined storytelling, movement, and projection to bring to life the spirit of adventure and resilience of women who challenged societal boundaries.
