Yeperenye Dreaming also known as ‘Caterpillar Dreaming’ is a significant feature of Aboriginal mythology for the Central Arrernte people and is reflected in the geography of the MacDonald Ranges.
Video Architecture appeared at the 2012 Alice Desert Festival with 4 nights of interactive projection art installations. The High-light was undoubtedly the Yepernye sculpture at the Araluen Arts Centre. Designed and built by Dan Murphy and a group of young indigenous men,
The projection onto the yeperenye scu;pture was made possible with the permission of Doris Stuart Kngarrayen and through consultation with the the sculptor Dan Murphy.
